Grand jury issues 11 indictments

Due to the Veteran’s Day holiday, the Montague County Grand Jury met on Nov. 9 instead of Nov. 12 to hear cases and the following persons were indicted.
District Attorney Casey Polhemus reported a total of 11 indictments including one case that was reindicted.
Jerry Alan Neiss, 32, Montague, had charges against him reindicted with one count aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child. These charges stem from alleged offenses on April 21, 2017. He remains in custody on a $100,000 bond.
