Jill was born on July 16, 1942, in San Antonio to Burton Junge and Ruth Brock Junge. Jill was raised in San Antonio and attended Ursuline Academy and later attended Thomas Jefferson High School. After high school, Jill attended San Antonio College majoring in history where she met the love of her life, Bill, who was finishing his studies to become a chiropractor.
Jill and Bill married on Sept. 7, 1963, at Travis Park United Methodist Church in San Antonio.
Jill and Bill moved to Dallas in 1964 where Jill assisted him in beginning his 54-year career as a Doctor of Chiropractic and a top consultant to the healthcare industry. She was a collector of dishes, a voracious reader, historian and a great American who loved her country and was active in politics from the local to federal level.
