Lake Amon G. Carter, closed to boating on April 18 due to flooding that covered boat docks and Selma Park area, was reopened Tuesday.
Texas Game Warden Chase McAninch said the signs closing the flooded roads were removed Tuesday. Boaters are encouraged to exercise caution as there could be debris in the high water.
Selma Park will open Thursday after repairs are made to electric hook-up poles.
On April 18, the lake was 5.34 feet over its capacity of 920 mean sea level. On May 2, the level had dropped to 922.16.
Lake Nocona closed the same week, but reopened on April 27. As of May 3, it is at 828.02, slightly above its capacity of 827.5 msl.
