Inmate garden donates items to food bank

A beautiful array of fresh vegetables were delivered this past week to the Christ Can Food Bank in Montague, freshly picked from the new inmate garden being cultivated by Montague County Jail Trustees. Chief Deputy J.T. Mitchell said the crops are being donated to several groups after being picked from the garden on FM 455. He said the goal is to not only provide something for the trustees to do, but also show how they can do something positive for their community.( Courtesy photo)
