FFA Alumni Fish Fry on April 9
The Bowie FFA Bryant Whitaker Memorial Scholarship Fish Fry will start at 5:30 p.m. on April 9 going until sellout.
Supper will be by donation only to enjoy catfish and all the trimmings cooked up by Keith Walker and Friends in the high school cafeteria. Proceeds support the local Bowie FFA scholarships.
There will be a special prize drawing to win a Chris Owen framed numbered giclee print 6/150 art piece, “Morning Light.” Tickets are $10 with the drawing on April 26. You need not be present to win. Proceeds go to scholarships.
The Bowie Junior High band Christmas concert will be at 6 p.m. on Dec. 16 in the junior high auditorium. It will feature the sixth grade band, white, maroon and BJH choir.
Families are invited to attend as the Christmas season begins.
The popular Christmas concert by the Bowie Elementary School kindergarten-second grade students will be at 5 p.m. on Dec. 11 in the high school gym.
The community is invited to attend this always entertaining show.
