HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Bowie baseball remains unranked

Despite a strong week finishing with a 3-1 record, the Bowie High School baseball team finds itself unranked this week in either state Conference 3A baseball poll.
The Texas High School Baseball Coaches poll was released on March 17, and the txhighschoolbaseball.com poll on March 21.
West leads both polls, sporting a record of 12-1. Jim Ned, Sunnyvale and Farmersville are seventh though ninth in the association poll.
Jim Ned is fifth, Gunter is seventh and Van Alstyne eighth in the .com poll. Also polled in the .com poll are: Sunnyvale (11th), Brock (14th), Wall (15th), Farmersville (16th) and Palmer (22nd). Palmer eliminated Bowie from the playoffs last season. Read more in the March 23 Bowie News.
