Saint Jo City Council to consider administrator position

The City of Saint Jo once again will consider the creation of city administrator position at its next meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The council has been discussing the matter for the past two months, and had an interview in executive session on June 1.
Joe Gamble, a former city manager in both Olney and Nocona who also worked for the North Texas Regional Planning Committee, talked with the council for more than one hour.
The council will have another executive session on the creation of a city administrator’s position.
They also will act and discuss an ordinance which will create a city administrator position and repeal conflicts with the city’s code.
