A Cooke County game warden was called to assist with a missing hunter along the Red River back in June.
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department reported an adult male had separated from the group during an early morning hog hunt, and the person had not been heard from.
The warden deployed an all-terrain vehicle to cover the land. Local air support and search dogs were also called in. But the subject, who is believed to have several outstanding felony warrants, was not located.
A missing person investigation continues.
