The Montague and Clay County Horse Show will take place on May 13 at the Montague County Cowboy Church.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m., with the show starting at 9.
The event begins with tie-down and breakaway roping.
Other events will be as follows: Halter, stock horse and speed.
Halter events are for mares, geldings and horsemanship. Stock horse events include reining, pleasure, trail, horsemanship, ranch sorting, working cow horse, cow boxing and cutting. Speed events are poles, barrels and stakes.
Ed Cate will serve as the judge.
The event features a dress code for participants, and horses must have completed Coggins paperwork.
This event is sponsored by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and 4-H.
