The Nocona Economic Development Corporation will be under new leadership after the Nocona City Council approved Donna Culpepper its new director during a Sept. 12 meeting.
Culpepper takes the place of retiring NEDC Director James Yohe, who announced his retirement in early August as he and his wife prepare to move to Georgia to help family. Yohe served as director 12 years.
The new director is currently with the Nocona Carpenter Shop, which she plans to continue helping with. However, Culpepper is excited for the opportunity to help her community.
