The Bowie High School volleyball team traveled to Holliday territory on Friday night, where they were defeated in a hard-fought five sets, including an overtime score in the fifth.
The victory was not easy for the Lady Eagles as Bowie continued to push back each set, but Holliday walked away with the win after topping the visitng team by 25-20, 15-25, 27-25, 19-25 and 16-18.
“The Holliday game was the best the girls have played as a team and they played with heart,” said Bowie Head Volleyball Coach Breanna Jones. “We keep progressing and getting better each match.”
Ivy Dennis put down a personal-best this season with 15 kills in the match against Holliday, while Aslyn Davis registered 13.
Meanwhile, Mackenzie Gresham provided another 10 kills for the Lady Rabbits.
