It was an up and down holiday tournament for the Nocona Lady Indians as they got back in shape after the Christmas break.
The Lady Indians played in the North Central Texas College Holiday Classic on Thursday through Friday.
Nocona started off the tournament well with a decidedly one sided 58-14 win against Texoma Christian. Freshman Averee Kleinhans led the team with 26 points and senior Emma Meekins was second with 15.
Their first game on Friday was a close game against Decatur. The Lady Indians were able to mostly carry their slight 25-20 halftime lead for the rest of the game to win 45-41. Kleinhans led the team with 20 points and Meekins was second with 12.
