A 47-year-old Garland man was arrested on Jan. 4 on a Bowie Police warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Lt. Randy Hanson of the Bowie Police Department said Billy David Krauser was arrested in connection with incidents that occurred on Dec. 24 in Bowie. On Christmas Eve, Victoria Scott filed an assault complaint related to her 16-year-old nephew allegedly being assaulted by his uncle.
Hanson said the teen was visiting his uncle at a local motel, along with two other boys. The report states Krauser became angry when his nephew ate his food. They had reportedly gone out to get some food earlier, but the teen said he didn’t want any.
When Krauser returned to eat after walking his dog, Hanson said the two got into a dispute about the food and Krauser reportedly struck the teen with his hand.
