Lee Roy “Bud” Yosten

MUENSTER – Lee Roy “Bud” Yosten, 95, died on Aug. 25, 2019.
A rosary and vigil was at 7 p.m. on Aug. 27 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
A mass of Christian burial was at 10 a.m. on Aug. 28 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial followed at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Yosten was born on June 23, 1924 in Muenster to the late Robert and Agnes Swirczynski Yosten, he was one of nine children. Yosten attended Sacred Heart School and later worked on the family farm and at Cooke County Electric Company.
He joined the United States Army during World War II and served from 1948 to 1950 in US occupied Japan. Upon his return, he returned to his job at the CO-OP, where he worked for a total of 43 years. He married Dorothy Mae Walterscheid on May 12, 1954.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae Walterscheid Yosten; his brothers and sisters, Angeline Yosten Wiesman Reiter, Albert Yosten, Stan Yosten, Leonard (Spike) Yosten, Paul Yosten, Martin Yosten, Larry Yosten and Dorothy Mae Yosten Holland; and a granddaughter.
He is survived by daughters, Karla Stevenson, Muenster and Kerri Snyder, Muenster; sons, Arnold , Yosten, Aledo, Gene Yosten, Muenster and Troy Yosten, Whitesboro; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Arrangements were entrusted to Scott Funeral Home in Muenster.
