For the first ever the Montague County Commissioner’s Court had to follow mass gathering limits Monday and telecast its meeting through a videolink app.
This action kept the county officials in line with the governor’s order to limit public events attended by 10 or more people.
With the full court attending, the county clerk, county attorney, auditor and technology director the numbers filled up quickly.
County media and other interested persons used the app to watch the meeting.
It was a rather basic agenda of business with amendments to the local disaster declaration one of the most pressing items. The order was approved last Tuesday with the amendments updating it with newer state mandates.
