Are you registered to vote? Deadline April 7 to vote on May 7

Texas Secretary of State John Scott reminds all eligible voters who have not already registered to do so by April 7 in order to vote in the May 7 statewide Constitutional Amendment election, as well as a City of Nocona council election.
The Nocona City Council was the only entity in that city to have any contested races for the May election. The other cities and school districts have elections in November.

Any eligible Texas voter can fill out his or her registration information on the Texas Secretary of State’s online portal, print, sign and mail the completed application form to their county voter registrar. All applications must be turned in to the elections office no later than 5 p.m. on April 7.
For the May 24, primary runoff election, the deadline to register to vote or make an address change is April 25. The same process applies
