HIGH SCHOOLS: “Fields Of Gold” is the theme for 2016
The Bowie News special fall sports preview section will come out on Aug. 24, and the themes have been selected.
The football theme will be “Fields of Gold,” with a special story on all five football high school fields in Montague County.
The volleyball theme is “Goldenwood,” with a special feature on the role of the libero.
The front covers will feature some of our country’s top athletes with trophies the schools have won or famous athletes of the past.
The special section will feature previews and schedules from all of our football and volleyball teams, and more.
