LOCAL: Allred resigns post at NCTC
Darin Allred announced in an email on Thursday afternoon that he will resign from his position as North Central Texas College public relations specialist.
Allred announced he has decided to concentrate on his sports marketing and management business.
Dianne Walterscheid has been named the new director of marketing and public relations at NCTC.
Bowie track season opens on Feb. 25
The Bowie High School boys’ and girls’ track and field teams will open the season with a meet on Feb. 25 at Henrietta.
The teams will follow that meet with one scheduled for Nocona on March 3.
Other regular-season meets include the Boyd Invitational on March 10, the Possum Kingdom Relays at Graham on March 19 and the Jacksboro Invitational set for March 24.
Bowie’s own invitational is set for March 28.
