REGIONAL: Rams’ owner purchases Waggoner Ranch
Stan Kroenke, owner of the National Football League’s Los Angeles Rams and National Hockey League’s St. Louis Blues, is the new owner of W.T. Waggoner Ranch.
Judge Dan Mike Bird of the 46th Judicial Court allowed Waggoner’s owners to proceed with a private transaction – allowing the sale to Kroenke.
This historic transaction is the first-ever sale of the Waggoner, a 535,000-acre estate which spans six Texas counties and nearly 800 square miles. Read more in the Feb. 13 Bowie News.
