HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Bowie takes care Whitesboro, 10-7

The Bowie High School baseball team scored two insurance runs in the top of the seventh as the Jackrabbits defeated Whitesboro 10-7 in a scrimmage.
Chandler Dean drew four walks and Kamry Weber collected three RBIs as Bowie prevailed in its second scrimmage of the season.
Whitesboro pushed across six runs in the fourth inning to take a 7-6 lead before Bowie forged ahead for good.
Carter Shackelford, Gabe Allen and Weber all had doubles for Bowie. Barrett Brooks, Shackelford, Weber and Dean all plated two runs. Read more in the Feb. 17 Bowie News.
