HIGH SCHOOLS: Girls’ golf opens season

Two Bowie High School girls’ golfers opened the season on Monday by participating in the Graham Lady Blues Invitational at Graham Country Club.
Chloe Polk was the Lady Rabbits’ low scorer with 104 strokes. Polk was seventh overall in a field of nearly 60 competitors. Tessla Brewer was the only other girl to play for Bowie, and she carded a 127. Read more in the Feb. 17 Bowie News.
