The Wichita Falls Wildcats are looking for a new head coach.
John LaFontaine, who guided the Wildcats to the Robinson Cup final this past season, has agrees to a similar position with the Muskegon (Mich.) Lumberjacks of the United States Hockey League.
LaFontaine is the current North American Hockey League coach of the year, and posted an 83-27-10 record during the past two seasons.
The Wildcats were the NAHL South Division champion this season.
Owner Roy Davoult told the Times Record News he would like to have a new coach in place by the time of the Wildcats’ final tryout camp at the end of July in Wichita Falls.
