Published

on

Election filing for the Nov. 7 city and school ballots began Monday and will continue through Aug. 21.
The cities of Bowie and Saint Jo will have elections, along with the school districts in Bowie and Saint Jo.
A petition to sell alcohol in the northern half of the county in justice of the peace one’s precinct was not turned in by the Monday deadline, so it will not be on the ballot.

As of Tuesday there were no filings for the elections.
