HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: Bowie girls ranked 22nd

The Bowie High School girls’ basketball team, sporting a 2-1 record, is currently ranked 22nd in the state in Conference 3A.
That’s according to the latest Texas Association of Basketball Coaches poll released this past Monday.
The Lady Rabbits have beaten Burkburnett and Krum and they are playing in the Fantasy of Lights Tournament today in Wichita Falls.
Bowie’s only loss came to Conference 5A ranked Wichita Falls Rider.
The Bowie girls are not ranked among the top-10 in the Texas Girls Coaches Association poll, also released on Monday. They are the only team in The Bowie News coverage area to be given such distinction.
