One of the most exciting events for Bowie Community Development is the first-ever Reds, Whites, & Brews and food trucks too! event coming July 13 to the Second Monday Trade Day grounds.
The BCD Board is teaming up with volunteers to host a fun corn hole tournament, bicycle parade, lawn mower tractor pull competition, food, drinks, and ending the day with an evening indoor concert series with local artist Monty Dawson as opening act followed by Jamie Richards, and Phil Hamilton.
Concert tickets are already on sale at the Bowie Community Center call Bonnie Kinder at 872-4861. Doors open for the concerts at 5:30 p.m.
There will be vendors from all across the area focusing on local wineries and breweries giving guest that taste they have been searching for right here in our own backyard.
To make it even more enticing for vendors Bowie Community Development will be giving out People’s Choice awards to some lucky participants in the event. Every day more register for the event.
