The record keeps spinning and spinning for the Bowie High School girls’ basketball team.
Bowie began the second half of District 3A-9 action Tuesday with a home game against a Boyd team that’s made improvement throughout the season.
That didn’t matter here as Bowie’s district mark remained unblemished after a large 68-21 win.
Nothing out of the ordinary occurred with the Lady Rabbits, reaching double-digit scoring each quarter. Three of the players scored double digits themselves.
“They did a better job not just settling for any shot,” said Bowie head girls’ basketball coach Colby Davis-Pastusek.
The defense was excellent as well – holding the Lady Jackets to single digits each quarter. The most the Lady Rabbits allowed was an eight points in the third quarter.
