BOWIE SUBVARSITY REPORT: Gill paces Bowie JV girls’ win
Lauren Gill tallied 15 points to lead three Lady Rabbits in double-digit scoring as Bowie downed Henrietta 55-13 on Friday.
Bowie’s freshmen girls’ team won on Thursday, 47-16, at Burkburnett, with Kalee Case dropping in a team-best 15 points.
On the boys’ side, Trace Hardee tallied 10 points as Bowie’s JV Maroon team soundly defeated Henrietta, 44-24. The Bowie JV White squad suffered a 41-17 setback against Henrietta.

Prairie Valley hosted its high school awards banquet on May 9. The O.C. Mann Award went to Josh Stout and Linzie Priddy.

Richey headed to National Finals

Bowie’s Cason Richey (right) and his horse Hello Lashes, qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo this month. Richey competes in team roping as a part of the Texas Tech University rodeo team as a freshman. The CNFR is scheduled for June 15-21 at Casper, WY.
