Water line repairs stall traffic at Pecan and Mason (Hwy. 59)

Published

on

City water crews have been working on water line breaks at the intersection of Mason of Pecan and Mason for two days. The first came Thursday night in as 12-inch water line, but the second was found after that repair was made Thursday afternoon. When they went to work on it Friday morning, there was a large spray of water that Cindy Roller captured out of her office located a few hundred yards away. Pecan street from Smythe to Mason is closed as they wait to make sure the new line replacement holds on the first repair. Traffic on Mason was on and off on Friday during the work. Drivers may want to avoid this area. (Photo by Cindy Roller)
