The Nocona softball team played better in its second District 3A-9 game on Friday, but the Lady Indians still suffered a 4-3 setback at Holliday.
Nocona stood at 3-8 overall, 0-2 in district, heading into Tuesday’s 3A-9 game versus Henrietta.
Holliday went ahead for good in the fifth inning.
