A former Bowie City Council member has obtained the necessary paperwork to circulate an “initiative petition,” seeking an ordinance to block the installation of automated license plate recognition systems within the city limits.
At the July 28 city council meeting the room was filled with 35-40 people, many of whom attended to discuss the use of these Flock cameras in the Bowie area.
