Rainfall helps Lake Amon Carter rise

Bowie records more than six inches of rainfall at various locations throughout the town and on the outskirts where Sunset reported nearly seven inches. However, the official water plant report shows a total of 1.85 inches on July 17 and 2.65 inches on July 18. The level at Lake Amon Carter rose from 910.95 msl on July 16 to 913.77 on July 18.
