AREA VOLLEYBALL: Tioga shocks Forestburg

Tioga shocked the Forestburg volleyball team in District 2A-10 action on Tuesday, winning by scores of 25-13, 25-14, 25-17.
The Lady Horns fell to 16-10, 2-2 in 2A-10. The team has fared much better in home matches, however that wasn’t the case here.
Haley Nolan put down seven kills, had three digs, one ace serve and one ace block in the loss.
Virginia Cody dished off 10 assists to go with three kills and two ace serves. Kendall Wallace put up a team-best two solo ace blocks, and she had five digs and two assists.
Brianna Raab added four digs and two kills. Alexia Britain contributed three kills and three digs. Cheyenne Karr chipped in with three digs and Laura Sanchez two.
Forestburg played Collinsville on Friday evening in a battle between two teams in the middle of 2A-10.
Prairie Valley falls to Valley View
At Valley View, the Bulldogs continued to show improvement, however Valley View still won in three by scores of 25-10, 25-23, 27-25. Read more on how the Bulldogs played in the weekend edition of The Bowie News.
