Michael Dennis named to fill Saint Jo Council vacancy
The City of Saint Jo named Michael Dennis as a new alderman at its regular monthly meeting on Dec. 10.
New Saint Jo mayor Chris Stewart administered the oath of office to Dennis, and he was unanimously approved for the spot on the city council. Read the full story in the weekend News. A BOIL WATER NOTICE remains in effect for City of Bowie, TX water customers along Highway 81 from Parker Road to Old Bowie Lake. Affected customers should use bottled or boiled water for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth. Results of water testing should be available shortly after noon today. If the testing is good, the BOIL WATER NOTICE may be lifted shortly thereafter
A boil water order was implemented Monday afternoon for the area served at U.S. Highway 81 from Parker Drive to Old Bowie Lake as water line repairs were made. The order remains in place today. If you are affected by this order and need bottled water call 940-977-4941.
