CHEERLEADING: Bowie Junior High performs
The Bowie Junior High cheerleaders attended the National Cheerleaders Association camp at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth last week.
The squad brought home multiple awards, including two blue superior ribbons, two red excellent ribbons, a best crowd involvement certificate and two spirit sticks.
All-American Cheerleader nominees were Bethany Fong, Ali Frie, Jessie Henry, Breanna Masingale and Klowey McFarland.
Bojo mascot Brylie Green received four excellent ribbons, a spirit stick, most creative use of props and All-American mascot nominee.
Macon Chambers, Bethany Fong, Ali Frie, Laci Hawkins, Jessie Henry, Breanna Masingale, Klowey McFarland, Meridythe Metzler, Allie Moon, Abby Provost, Lauren Uncel and Bethany Woolf make up the junior high roster, and Brylie Green is the mascot.
