April Yard of the Month goes to 807 Central

Bowie celebrates the arrival of spring with presentation of the April Bowie News Yard of the Month honor to Julia Davis, 807 Central.
The judges, which includes master gardeners, were excited to kick off the new season as they visited a total of seven nominated yards. Those yards nominated included: 700 Meadow Lane, 310 Strong, 1206 Hidalgo, 1213 N. Mill, 1209 Miller and 1208 N. Lamb.
The Bowie News extends its appreciation to those who submitted nominations for the contest which will run through June. Please start your submissions now for the May award and remember yards previously nominated can be submitted again.
Deadline to submit a May yard will be May 22 and the winner will be announced in the May 30 edition of The Bowie News.
