The local 1A schools competed in the area track meet at Graford on Monday to see who would carry on to regionals.
As a team the Saint Jo boy’s team won first place overall while the girl’s team finished second to Throckmorton.
Forestburg saw its boy’s team finish in third place while the girl’s team placed sixth overall.
The Bellevue girl’s team was in a three-way tie for seventh place while its boy’s team finished 12th overall.
The Gold-Burg boy’s team earned ninth place and the girl’s team placed 14th overall.
Prairie Valley had both of its teams finish in 13th place overall.
Individual athletes who finished fourth or better in each event qualified to move on to the regional meet at the University of North Texas in Denton on April 19-20.
