HIGH SCHOOLS: Weber named Bowie Boosters vice president

Keith Weber was selected Monday as the Bowie Athletic Booster Club vice president.
The decision was made during the group’s regular monthly meeting.
Weber also serves as Little Dribblers youth basketball program coordinator and he devotes additional time to helping coach summer softball.
Booster club members officially took new positions at the gathering, with Craig Stallcup now president and Cynthia Robertson secretary.
The organization reported Kristal Wolsey Sutton most likely will be back as treasurer.
Plans already are in the works for the 2015-2016 season, and it was announced the “Meet the Rabbits” event will take place at 6 p.m. on Aug. 8.
This is the night student-athletes are introduced, there are recreational activities for parents and athletes alike and powder puff football. Read more in the weekend Bowie News.
