REGIONAL: Nighthawks set 2016 schedule

The Wichita Falls Nighthawks will return for the 2016 season, so said owner and Wichita Falls businessman Drew Carnes.
With that in mind, the Indoor Football League released its schedule for the 2016 campaign on Tuesday afternoon.
This year will feature an 18-week, 96-game schedule beginning on Feb. 26 and ending on June 25.
There are two new teams this year with the Minnesota Havok based in Mankato, Minn., and the Spokane Shock.
There will be four divisions with three teams apiece. The Nighthawks will be in the Central Division with the Nebraska Danger and Colorado Crush.
All teams will play eight home and eight away games.
The defending Intense Conference champion Danger will open with the Nighthawks at 7 p.m. on Feb. 27, 2016.
The playoffs will begin on July 8, 2016, with the United Bowl championship set for July 22, 2016.
