A 39-year-old Oklahoma man was arrested by Bowie Police July 24 with nearly two pounds of marijuana.
The arrest came during a drug interdiction check-point period on July 24. Lt. Rick Beckham, criminal investigation division, said the arrest occurred at 10:50 p.m. during a period where the “drug check-point ahead” sign was posted along a section of U.S. 287. Randy Houston was arrested and charged with delivery of marijuana after police found nearly two pounds of marijuana under his front seat. Read the full story in the Wednesday News. (Courtesy photo)
The following indictments were filed with the 97th District Clerk following the November session of the Montague County Grand Jury.
There were a total of 13 indictments with one sealed awaiting the arrest of a suspect.
A grand jury indictment is not evidence of guilt. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
