HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL: Prairie Valley wins season-opener

The Prairie Valley and Bellevue girls’ basketball teams opened the season on Friday, with split results.
Prairie Valley topped Wichita H.E.A.T. by a score of 44-31 while Alvord doubled up Bellevue 82-41.
