HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Bowie still unranked in 3A poll

The Bowie High School baseball team wasn’t ranked in the Conference 3A txhighschoolbaseball.com poll.
That’s despite the Jackrabbits leading District 3A-9, and with an overall record of 12-7-1.
West leads the poll with a record of 15-1, and Shallowater is second.
Jim Ned sits fourth. Other notables that are ranked are: Gunter (seventh), Van Alstyne (eighth), Brock (11th), Farmersville (12th) and Wall (15th).
Chico and Lindsay are both ranked in the top-10 of the Conference 2A poll. Beckville leads with a record of 15-0-1.
The Dragons are 13-0-1 and Lindsay is 15-1-1. Muenster and Windthorst are also receiving votes.
In Conference 4A, Abilene Wylie is in front with a mark of 16-2-1, and Pleasant Grove is second. Argyle is slotted sixth, Celina is ranked 11th, Iowa Park 12th, Decatur 21st and Godley is tied for 25th. Read more in the April 6 Bowie News.
