HIGH SCHOOL TRACK AND FIELD: Vaughan nabs 110s bronze

Bowie’s Zeke Vaughan also made history at the state meet, scoring 16 points for the Jackrabbits in three events: the high jump, the 110-meter high and 300-meter intermediate hurdles.
Vaughan earned a bronze medal in the 110 highs, clocking in at 14.73 seconds, which was three-tenths of a second off the torrid pace set by Cisco’s Tyler Massey (14.39).
“I was disappointed, but I also was happy that I got to be on the medals stand (again),” said Vaughan, who earned bronze in the high jump on Thursday (6-4). Read more in the May 18 Bowie News.
