Texoma Gives Day includes county nonprofits
Eight Montague County nonprofit groups will be participating in Texoma Gives Day on Sept. 15.
Texoma Gives Day is a day of online giving to registered Texoma nonprofits. Its goal is to bring the region together to highlight the nonprofits that improve lives.
The Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation is presenting Texoma Gives Day, and it has secured sponsors to assist with “prize” money awarded during the day.
Online giving will be from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. to 146 registered nonprofits in 18 north Texas counties and six southern Oklahoma counties. Donations can qualify for matching “prize” money throughout the day.
Montague County registered nonprofits include: Nocona Senior Center, Nocona Ministries, Tales ‘N’ Trails Museum, Nocona Lucky Paws Animal Shelter, North Texas Society of History and Culture for the Nocona Playground Project, Easy Street Animal Shelter, Museum of the Stonewall Saloon and the James Bruner TK Ranch.
Anyone in the world can donate online during the day. For more on this event visit: texomagives.org.
