HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: Whataburger Tournament Information

What: The 59th Annual Whataburger Tournament
When: Wednesday through Friday, Dec. 28-30.
Where: Blue boys’ division games will take place at Chisholm Trail High School in Saginaw.
Ticket prices: $8 for a single-day pass, $20 for a three-day pass at a single venue. Senior citizen and student prices will be discounted. Whataburger will be served at the concession stands.
Blue boys’ division teams: Bowie, Liberty Hill, Ponder, Liberty Christian, Central Heights, Burkburnett, Peaster, Abilene Wylie, Muenster, Jarrell, Seminole, Brock, Argyle, Wall, Decatur and Kennedale.
Did you know?: Bowie won the inaugural tournament in 1958, topping Arlington Heights for the title.
Whataburger has been the title sponsor of a basketball tournament since the late 1950s. (Logo provided by the company)
