Indians remain undefeated

Rain didn’t slow down the Nocona Indians as they continued a five-game winning streak after a 63-0 Homecoming victory over Perrin-Whitt Friday night.
The Indians entered halftime more than 40 points in the lead after three first-half touchdowns from Jeremy James, who finished with eight-of-nine completions for 98 yards, connecting with Riley McCasland and Hunter Fenoglio.
Tanner Cable also added to the large score with a fumble return, who also leads Nocona in tackles for the season with 73 total. He’s followed by Luis Rico with 57.
Nocona has two weeks off to prepare for its first district game on the road at Holliday on Oct. 13.
