Bowie tops City View

The Bowie High School volleyball team opened the second round of district action with a sweep over City View on Tuesday night.
Ivy Dennis registered 17 kills during three sets to lead the Lady Rabbits to a 25-16, 25-23 and 25-19 victory.
A balanced defense from Kamryn Cantwell, Bailey Grant, Mackenzie Gresham and Dennis came with one block from each player, while Cantwell put down three ace serves during the match against the Lady Mustangs.
Setter Landra Parr provided 27 assists for the Lady Rabbits.
