Fugitive eludes lawmen two days; captured in Bowie Thursday
The two-day search for a 32-year-old fugitive wanted on warrants in Montague and Wise Counties came to an end Thursday night as Brian Dean King was arrested near a Bowie residence.
While the search for King was underway for two days in the county, he has been sought by Wise County since an Oct. 21 incident in Chico. When officers attempted to stop him in that community he jump out of his vehicle, which he left running, and fled the scene. His vehicle ran into one of the deputy’s vehicles. King was captured Thursday evening near a Bowie residence on East Wilbarger, but he also attempted to run from officers, who quickly caught him. Read the full story in the Saturday News.
