Three injured in early morning accident Tuesday

Nocona Fire Department responded to this two-vehicle wreck at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday on United States Highway 81, north of Dutton Road. Department of Public Safety Trooper Ronnie Nelson investigated. This blue Dodge pickup driven by Gerardo Lopez-Montes, 27, was traveling southbound in the northbound lane of U.S. 81 when he attempted to pass and collided with a 2005 Ford FM 350 pickup driven by Roger Clyde Magee, 52, Jayess, MS, who was traveling north in the northbound lane. Both drivers and a passenger in the Magee vehicle, were transported to Nocona General Hospital by Nocona and Bowie EMS.
