HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: Bellevue boys third at Windthorst Classic

Bellevue and Nocona played a nip-and-tuck game through three quarters, but the Eagles pulled away to take third place in the boys’ bracket at the Windthorst Holiday Classic with a 64-56 win.
The two teams were knotted up at 37-all heading into the locker rooms at halftime, and only one point separated them heading into the fourth.
However, Bellevue outscored the Indians 15-8 to pull away for the win.
Jacob Watkins paced Bellevue in its win, scoring 16 points. Nocona’s Kameron Hill paced all scorers with 21 points.
