Lady Rabbits lose close game at home

The Bowie girls lost to Peaster on Friday night in a closely contested game.
The Lady Greyhounds won 69-62, getting revenge against the Lady Rabbits for ending their season last year in the playoffs.
It was a high scoring game for both teams right from the beginning. Peaster led 21-18 after the first quarter and 37-31 at halftime following a late run from the Lady Greyhounds.
At one point Peaster was up double-digits in the second half, but Bowie stayed close by shooting well from inside the arc and getting to the free throw line.
Unfortunately, the Lady Rabbits fell short losing 69-62.Camberley Gunter led the team scoring 15 points and making four 3-pointers. Taygon Jones was not far behind scoring 17 points while leading the team with nine rebounds.
